Art Quilt - "Outside My Window"

As Fall comes full circle and leaves turn golden and brown in the mountains of California, the Scrub Jay prepares to bid farewell to my mountain canyon. This fellow uncommonly perched at length just outside my dining window. So while I may not see him for a while, I can remember this moment through this piece.

Art Quilt - "Windsong"

Because I born and earlier raised on midwest open plains, I was used to wind moving across the landscape. There is nothing more beautiful than the mane of an exquisite horse blowing in the wind. In this piece, I can feel the wind and see it moving the grasses in the background. I'm looking always for that connection with nature so abundant in open farmland.
Size: xx x xx
Materials: Pigment Ink and heliographic paint on cotton, wool/poly batting, cotton backing.
This piece is for sale. Contact patt@pattsart.com for more information about this piece.

Windsong placed third in the Nov. 2009 International Quilt Festival.
